Lisbon by Taste: A Food Walk
Four hours, one neighbourhood, and everything Lisbon eats between breakfast and dinner

The quickest way to understand a country is to eat it. In four hours we walk one neighbourhood at a comfortable pace and stop wherever the food deserves it: the marble counters where Lisboetas take their morning coffee standing up, the century-old grocers, the tasca where lunch has been the same good thing for forty years.
We taste as we go - a pastel de nata still warm from the oven, cured cheese and presunto, tinned fish that earns its reputation, a glass of vinho verde or a ginjinha poured in a bar the size of a corridor. Between bites I explain what you are eating and why it matters: the Atlantic, the empire, the convents, and the everyday habits that hardened into a cuisine.
It works as an introduction on your first day in Lisbon, or as the unplanned afternoon of your last. Mornings and evenings both work - tell me which suits you and I build the route around the tables that open then.
